First off, before introducing my new project, I want to apologize for ignoring my promise of blogging on here as frequently, but it’s been a very busy past few months, and i had no time side-projects. Today, though I’m back on track and will be launching a new small project called Project- Palestine. Whenever I mention to my friends how much I miss home, they look at me incredulously demanding; ‘What is there to go back to? Burned fields? Dead people? Bombarded buildings? Starvation?’
This got me thinking; man, are they missing out on a lot! What makes them think that Palestine is all just a hideous war-zone? I mean yes, the media only does show the usual catastrophes happening every now and then when news arises, but haven’t they been shown its other side of it? That’s when I realized; maybe they’re not the only ones who are clueless about the beauty of Palestine. So I felt compelled to portray Palestine in a new light where the scars of war are washed, to un-veil the pure splendour of what I am proud to call home.
Please stay tuned for the first episode of Project Palestine.
With best regards
-Farah
